Queensland Flood Road Damage
AustStab is working with Department of Transport and Main Roads to optimise the resources needed for the extensive stabilisation program to rehabilitate Queensland's road network. The cooperation includes specialist training and resources planning. This is especially important as material and transport resources can be stretched with the vast distances that need to be covered. Both TMR and AustStab fully understand the need to maintain quality at this time and are working together to ensure the high standards are maintained.
2012 Stabilisation Courses
Following the success of the AustStab/CPEE stabilisation courses in 2011, the program has been expanded with 9 courses to be held both in cities and regional areas in five states and territories in 2012. The courses give both the construction and design aspects of stabilisation using a range of presenters from road authorities, consultants and contractors. This results in a broad coverage of topics and promotes many questions and discussion.
