Construction Stabilisation

Stabilisation can be carried out by two methods

  1. In situ stabilisation
  2. Stationary or pugmill type stabilisation

The equipment required depends on the size of the project.  It is important that fit for purpose equipment is used as the quality of the final product is greatly dependent on

  1. Accurate binder addition
  2. Optimum water content
  3. Complete mixing of binder
  4. Full depth compaction
